ALL THE FOOTBALL BOOTS OF KARIM BENZEMA’S CAREER
Today, Karim Benzema is considered an important ambassador for adidas and in particular for the X Ghosted range, which he embodies perfectly thanks to his qualities. However, he wore Nike cleats when he started out and distinguished himself during a period with the legendary f50 of the brand with three stripes.

Nike Mercurial Vapor II R9
Karim Benzema made his mark early on in the youth teams of Olympique Lyonnais, alongside a certain Hatem Ben Arfa. Both players were wearing Nike Mercurial Vapor II R9. A coincidence? Perhaps not, because Benzema has always declared his love for the player that was Ronaldo.

Nike Mercurial Vapor II
Benzema is a member of the OL pro squad and always wears the Nike Mercurial Vapor II on his feet. The shoe has a one-piece upper that wraps the foot perfectly. This shoe allows him to be very quickly highlighted by his performances. He played thirteen games in Ligue 1 and made four starts.

Nike Mercurial Vapor III
This was the year that Benzema exploded in Ligue 1 and competed against the biggest French teams. He won the Champions Trophy, scored in the Champions League and scored the breakthrough goal against OM at the Velodrome. Benzema played 21 league games and scored 5 goals.

Adidas +f50.7 TUNIT
Benzema is selected for the French national team and … goes to adidas! The German equipment manufacturer must have sensed the opportunity and seized it. Benzema is still with adidas today, and is one of their global ambassadors. So he is switching to adidas with a pair of +f50.7 TUNIT. On this shoe, the frames were interchangeable (Tune it!).

Adidas adiPure II
During his last season at OL, Benzema wore a pair of white adiPure with black piping. He confirms and accumulates goals: 17 in total in L1, finishing behind André Pierre Gignac in the ranking of scorers. Also 5 goals in the Champions League, including one against Manchester United.

Adidas adiPure II Black/Gold
The big jump for Real Madrid! A transfer estimated at 35 million euros and a 6-year contract between Benzema and his beloved club. During the first training sessions, he wears a pair of black and gold adiPure, whose ambassador at the time was Kàkà.

With his arrival in the Merengue club, Benzema passes a sporting course but also with his equipment manufacturer. He is now an ambassador who is one of the first to wear the new colours of the adiPure range from the start of the 2009 Champions League campaign.

Adidas adiZero f50 Yellow/Black
The World Cup is over. Benzema was not part of the list of Domenech and avoids the rout in South Africa. Benzema’s career at adidas began with a change of silo at the start of the season. He now becomes an ambassador for the f50 silo with a yellow and black pair.

Adidas adiZero f50 Black/Green
A new year, a new colour, and a new design for the f50. Two versions of the f50 existed at the time and Benzema had the black and green version at his feet. The other colour of the f50 was predominantly orange with black accents.

After a few touches of fluorescent on the previous colours, adidas dares to use bright colours for the beginning of the 2011-2012 season. Purple, fluorescent yellow and orange: a cocktail of fireworks on Benzema’s feet.

From September 2011, a change of colours for Benzema. The patchwork of colours of the pre-season is gone, adidas decides to come back to a more basic mix of colours. Small detail, some cleats are red on the sole!

Adidas f50 adiZero II miCoach Black/Slime
Adidas has come up with a model that revolutionizes the way you look at your cleats. It is a tool that is now intelligent and allows you to record a number of data to improve your performance (speed, number of sprints, distance covered …). Benzema is now wearing this model in its first black and fluorescent yellow colour.

Adidas f50 adiZero II miCoach Infrared/Bright Blue
This is the colour scheme worn by Karim Benzema during Euro 2012 in Ukraine. Adidas combined two colourways with high TV potential with an “infrared” orange and a well-chosen blue. Together with Benzema, Lukas Podolski was one of the ambassadors for this colour of the f50 (165 grams).

After starting the season with the previous colourway, Benzema plays the first Champions League matches of the 2012/2013 season with a white and neon yellow colourway and some black accents. Again, adidas opts for contrasting blue studs.

Once again, adidas is using the new year to launch its new f50 model. Version 3 of the silo is hitting the courts and Benzema continues to be its ambassador. The first livery he wears is black and green.

Second colourway of 2013 for the f50 adiZero III.
From April onwards, Benzema will be wearing this new colourway with a predominantly navy blue combined with white and light purple. A great colour combination.
