As an essential element in football and the centre of the game, the ball has all the elements to embody this role. “When it’s not in your feet, it’s in your head,” reads the official statement from the German brand.

Presented by LaLiga players under contract with PUMA (Antoine Griezmann, Jan Oblak, Memphis Depay, Stefan Savic or Yunus Musah), this ball could then be accompanied by a second version. As it has been the case for the past two seasons, the cat brand is unveiling two balls. One for “classic” matches, the other for important matches such as the derbies or the legendary Clasico.

In terms of technology, it is made up of twelve panels moulded in the shape of a star using high-frequency technology, which provides excellent stability in the air and increased resistance to water absorption. POE foam is added to the new version to increase touch sensitivity for a firmer feel and better bounce consistency. The ball also features a rubber bladder and a PAL (PUMA Air Lock) valve for optimal air retention and rebound properties.
