At the dawn of the 2022-2023 season, Nike has unveiled the new jersey of Barça. A jersey that reinvents itself once again and FC Barcelona has just launched a great contest to allow fans to win a jersey of the club every season … and for life! Phenomenal.

It seems long ago when the vertical stripes seemed eternal on the jersey of Barça. Since 2012-2013 and especially 2015-2016 when Nike introduced the horizontal stripes and upset the habits of the club’s fans, the FC Barcelona shirt is regularly at the center of small revolutions. The 2022-2023 season is no exception to the rule and it is a completely new shirt that is unveiled for the new season.

From next season, Spotify will appear as the new main sponsor of the Barça jersey. After five seasons with Rakuten, the Swedish music streaming giant has won the bid and will now appear on the chest of Barcelona and on the new design where blue and red are now associated with navy blue.

30 years ago, the 1992 Olympic Games were held in Barcelona. In addition to being marked by the presence of the American basketball team, rightly called the “Dream Team”, the Barcelona Olympics were also a defining moment for the Catalan city. In terms of technology, the authentic jersey is unsurprisingly designed with the Dri-FIT ADV and its new relief. A material that is still as effective as ever and will also be present on the jerseys of the selections for the World Cup 2022.

Finally, the various sponsors are dressed in gold on this new Barça jersey. In addition to the new Spotify logo and the swoosh on the chest, the Club has also changed the UN logo on the back to the UNHCR/ACNUR (UN High Commissioner for Refugees).
